  Laboratory  Assistant

 


Students desiring to learn how to be a laboratory  assistant will benefit from this program.

 

 

 

 

 

This Laboratory Assistant program will provide you with the basic knowledge needed for beginning the steps necessary to acquire jobs in the medical field.  High School Juniors who complete the program may continue on towards their an AAS degree their Senior year.

 Fall Semester

These classes are taken all together during the semester.

      HCE 100  Basic Health Care Concepts  4 Cr  7-9 AM  Daily

       HCE 101 Basic Life Support     2 Cr    7-9 AM    Daily

      HCE 112  Medical Terminology   2 Cr   7-9 AM   Daily

      HCE 186  Phlebotomy  2 Cr    7-9 AM  Daily

      Spring Semester

       HCE  Lab Assisting       5 Cr    7-9 AM     Daily

       HCE   Lab Clinical        3 Cr    7-9 AM     Daily

       HCE 114  Math for Medications   2 Cr   7-9 AM    Daily      

     

        

 

 

 

 

 


All classes are taught from 7-9 AM Monday through Friday fall and Spring semesters.  Most clinical labs will be conducted on the EAC campus.

 
 

 

 

 

 


This is an intensive college level program. Only serious students need apply.
