Fitness trainers and aerobics instructors help people get in shape. They teach aerobics classes or set up individual training programs. Students in this program will learn basic exercise science, nutrition, fitness assessment, exercise programming, and instructional and spotting techniques. Students who complete this program may earn national certification as an ACE Personal Fitness Trainer. They may go on to further education leading to a career as an athletic trainer or a physical therapist. Fall Semester - Year 1 HPE 274 Sports
