Shalyn Maltos

- Business in Action II

Shalyn has been in my Business classes for four years. She rarely misses a day of school so is always here when I need her. Shalyn is able to conquer any project that comes through our media print business and she completes projects in a timely manner and with professionalism. Shalyn truly deserves the GIFT Business Student of the Month. (Instructor - Kara Calloway)

November 2009 - THS

Anthony Gonzales

- Culinary 2

Robbie is always a great help in class. He is always willing to get his hands dirty, whether it is cutting up chicken or taking out the trash. (Instructor - David Cluff)

October 2009 - THS

John Scoggin

- Woodshop 2

John is a hard worker, and conscientious of the quality of his work. He always stays busy and helps other students as well. (Instructor - Gerald Larson)

Erica Ferrin

- Business in Action II

This is Erica's 4th year in the Business program at Thatcher High School. She has also been an active member of FBLA all 4 years, holding the office of secretary and for the past two years, chapter President. Erica has grown tremendously over the past few years in a wide variety of ways. She has gained many leadership, business management, and computer skills, along with building up her confidence. Erica has qualified two years in a row to attend FBLA national conferences in Word Processing. In class Erica is a leader and an innovator, taking on many projects and seeing them to the end. (Instructor - Kara Calloway)

May 2009 - THS

Jayden Sanders

- Business

Jayden has been an asset to my Business program and to my Future Business Leaders of America program. He is an innovator and a motivator for other students. Jayden has the ability to stand up in front of a crowd and speak from his heart. He is unique in the way he reaches out to all his pears-he secludes no one, he includes all of them in his goal to make sure things are in their best interest. Jayden also has the natural skills and abilities it takes to conquer any computer application, any computer problem, and any technological project. He is a student with a constant drive to figure things out and pursue whatever he is working on with a passion. Jayden has a goal to open his own Computer Business which he has currently named Jazco and I have no doubt that this young businessman will succeed in whatever career he chooses.

April 2009 - THS

Camille Christensen

- Computer Technology

Camille has been a very good student, helping other students when they have questions. Her grades and attitute set her apart.

March 2009 - THS

Anthony Chavez

- Culinary Arts

Anthony is competent in the production of side dishes and sauces. He does a fine job with grilled meats. He keeps his work station clean. He practices good personal hygiene. I also appreciate the fact that he volunteers for extra assignments when we're short handed.

February 2009 - THS

Kyle Krutsinger

-

Kyle has made a huge improvement overall in the wood shop and should be recognized for his progress. He is constantly busy and he does not have to be reminded to work on his projects.

January 2009 - THS

Brenin Angle

-

Brenin is awesome! He takes on all the big projects that come up and comes in after school and during lunch to work on them. He creates the programs for the music and athletic events and always has creative ideas. He has a wonderful sense of business and will go far in whatever he chooses to do. He created a new announcement flyer that is produced each week to help the students and staff know what's going on at the high school.
