2012 - SHS | December 2012 - SHSShaine Moir - Agricultural MechanicsShaine has done an excellent job in the Agricultural Education department and Safford FFA while here at Safford High School. Just this past month she was our highest person in the National Agronomy CDE while in Indianapolis. She pushes herself academically as she attends EAC while at SHS. Congratulations to Shaine! (Instructor: Lance Fite) |  | November 2012 - SHSAndrea Hernandez - Culinary ArtsAndrea Hernandez is currently the president of Chef's Brigade for 2012. Andrea is a very dedicated and hard working young lady. She participated in the Salsa Fest and received Honorable Mention. Andrea is the first one to offer a helping hand in our organization. (Instructor: Patricia Whitmire) |  | October 2012 - SHSDallas Willey - BOSASDallas is a junior and is enrolled in Business Operations at Safford High School. Business Operations is the 3rd year course and is very self-paced with several work-based learning projects at the beginning of the year. Dallas is very creative, excited to learn, and fun to have in class. She transferred to Safford last fall from Thatcher and has been an asset to our school, business program, and FBLA chapter. She is one that I can count on to help others, do her own work and run our CTSO. She is just an all around great person. He is a first year student but shows knowledge and skills beyond expectation. The staff and I admire his work ethic and interaction with the preschool children. (Instructor: Christi Rivera) |  | February 2012 - SHSMaverick Buckley - Accounting IIMaverick is a senior and in his second year in the Safford Accounting program. He excels in his studies and is what you could call a “natural” at accounting! He has excellent time management and work ethics…skills that teachers love for all students to possess.
Maverick is a great example for other students as he shows them how to lead others to be successful and get the job done right. I enjoy having Maverick in class, as he is an excellent student. I am excited that he chose to continue in the Accounting program at SHS. (Instructor: Marci Barlow)
|  | January 2012 - SHSAaron Fox - Advanced WeldingAaron is an active student here in the Safford Welding Department. He has been instrumental in shop maintenance and construction for the program this year. He is very responsible in all tasks in which he is involved and takes pride with his work. Aaron continues to go above and beyond what is expected and is a tremendous asset to our welding class. (Instructor: Lance Fite) |
