As technology is taking over our lives, more and more people look to coding/Google IT related industries for their careers. These industries offer a fresh appeal with a lot of potential for growth. As such, it is no surprise that adventuring into coding/Google IT is a goal for many people. This is an open field with endless possibilities in networking, systems, and security.
What do Coding/Google IT Graduates Do?
Coding/Google IT graduates will have the knowledge and skills, along with several certificates to be very marketable in the computer technology fields.

First Semester
- Computer Programming I (CMP 124)
A comprehensive introduction to software and programming concepts. Students will learn to write problem-solving programs and develop a wide variety of applications. The course uses a variety of techniques to illustrate good programming practices, application development techniques, and overall visual design. General programming concepts including data types, classes, objects, methods, decision and repetition structures, and string and array manipulation will be covered. Computer literacy is assumed.

- Google IT Professional I (CMP 155)
This course is based on Google’s IT Professional Certificates, which are designed to provide the job-ready skills students need to start or advance their IT careers. This course along with CMP 156, Google IT Professional II, introduces troubleshooting, customer service, networking, operating systems, system administration, and security - all fundamentals of IT support that are critical for success in the workplace.

Second Semester
- C# Programming I (CMP 128)
C# Programming I is an introductory programming course for vocational computer majors and students transferring to universities in a business program. Course concentration includes the Visual Studios integrated development environment including user interfaces and controls, and object-oriented programming concepts including data types, classes, objects, methods, decision and repetition structures, and string and array manipulation. Computer literacy is assumed.

- Google IT Professional II (CMP 156)
This course is based on Google’s IT Professional Certificates, which are designed to provide the job-ready skills students need to start or advance their IT careers. This course along with CMP 155, Google IT Professional I, introduces troubleshooting, customer service, networking, operating systems, system administration, and security - all fundamentals of IT support that are critical for success in the workplace.
